First and foremost, all clients and prospective clients are invited to visit the studio before their shoot for a complimentary consultation. Meeting the photographer and visiting the studio can take the edge off of your photo shoot by making you feel more at ease. It will also give the photographer and staff the opportunity to meet you and better prepare for your photo shoot. We will go over wardrobe selections and any other preparations you need to make before the shoot. The studio is open every Monday for consultations from 10AM to 5PM. You are welcome to come by at any other time, but please call ahead for an appointment to ensure we have time to see you.
At Brett Chisholm Photography, every photo shoot is tailored to your specific needs. For individuals, the first 15 minutes you are at the studio we will sit down and go over your goals for the shoot and what you need the images for in order to maximize your time in the studio. (For commercial clients, story boards and shot lists are signed off by both parties in advance. Please see commercial section of the website for more information.) Throughout the photo shoot, you will be able to view the images and printed contact sheets to further ensure you will leave the studio with what you need.
Every session at Brett Chisholm Photography includes a disc of full sized images when you leave. This disc comes with a release allowing you printing and usage rights of the images. All proofs are uploaded to a password protected server so you can view them and order lab prints from your home. Full lab printing solutions are offered at Brett Chisholm Photography, including metallic prints, canvas prints, museum framing options, and more. Images are stored on backup and there is no deadline to order your images.
Professional hair and makeup is available at the studio for an additional fee. Please make certain to express your interest in hair and makeup or wardrobe styling at the time you make your appointment.
Sessions are booked at 2 hour increments, allowing for 15 minutes of pre-shoot consultation prior to the appointment time. No guarantee of time after the shoot can be made, so please make sure to book time accordingly and plan for all the shots you will need before the shoot.
